Can you tell me how to delete addresses that have been typed into the address bar instead of a search engine?

I know that having too much typed in the address bar can slow my speed, so if anyone can tell me how to delete it I would be greatful...thanks!!!

1. For Internet Explorer 7:

Click on tools then go to Internet options. Under browsing history, click "delete". Then click "delete all".

2. For Mozilla Firefox 2.0+:

Tools > Options > Clear Now > Clear private data now. Then restart Firefox.

Go to your control panel icon. Click on Internet Options. There you can delete you total history. The addys won't show on your address bar.

It SOUNDS like you have too much tied up in your temporary files.Stay in Internet Options. With the cursor highlighted in the address bar, press the end button on your keyboard. Then, while holding the shift key, press home on the keyboard. This will hightlight the entire address.
