whats the difference between endocrine system and endocrine gland??

The regulation of the body's functions requires the chemical control by the endocrine system....which is the collection of the endocrine glands in the human body.
Endocrine glands secrete chemicals called Hormones into the blood stream which transport them to the target tissues...
Endocrine glands are....Pituitary, Thyroid, Parathyroid, Thymus, Adrenal Glands, Pancreas and the Gonads(male- testes, female- ovaries)

The endocrine system is the entire collection of glands which secrete homrones into the blood stream. A gland is a specific tissue, such as the adrenal gland, that secretes specific hormones.
