I've debated over that too. I think she died because she was finally able to share her story and she was, like you said, an "old, old lady warm in her bed". My mother thinks she didn't because the song says "every night in my dreams..." so she thinks she was dreaming. I guess it's just one of those that makes you think.

I believe Rose did in fact die. Jack says she'll die an old lady warm in her bed and then in the end it shows her warm in her bed with the scene showing pictures of her life (as if to suggest her life is flashing before her eyes, but in this case before the audience). Then she's seen very still and running through the halls of Titanic. In the room by the clock, she sees all of those that died on Titanic greet her as she reunites with Jack.

Yes she did die. That is what you see in the end. Her spirit is brought back to the Titanic to be reunited with Jack and everybody else that went down with the ship.

Yes she does... she dies in her sleep then it shows her arriving on the grand stair case of the titanic and all the other passengers are there as well and they're all applauding. Then Jack takes her hand and they go up the stairs together, it's a metaphor for heaven, roll credits. :)

Yes, everyone that died on the ship was there to greet her spirit - I think she was back to Kate Winslet's version of Rose at that point, since Leonardo DiCaprio's character wouldn't have eternal fun with the old lady version of Rose.

Yes (we think).
When she goes to bed that night, she sees all the people that were on the Titanic with her. This is a way of saying that she has joined them.
