She has a problem if she hits her friends, and if you do nothing she will not learn that she needs to change. It could be attention, bullying, or just anger control, most of us are taught not to hit others when we are very young, but some do not get it. You need to stop going places with her and doing things with her. Find other nice friends that have learned how to behave. If she asks why you don't want to sit with her just say you'd rather spend time with people who don't play rough or hit.
With friends like that, who needs enemies.

I used to have a friend who used to hit me all the time, for no reason, back in junior high. Why did she do it? She enjoyed it. However it wasn't because she disliked me. It was just her way of having fun with me. I of course didn't liked her fun way of treating me. I asked her to stop hitting me, which she did, and we continued our friendship. You should do the same, you ask her to stop hitting you if she has no reason to do so, or even if she did, there's still no reason to hit you. Or else you dump your friend, simple.

She hitting you because she knows that you like her so you would tell her to stop or hit her back. She is using your niceness against you.

she isnt a friend if she hits you for no reason try talking to her about it maybe then she can realise and stop so you both can continue being mates...good luck and dont take the abuse

hitting you in what way ...
if its a tap or a soft punch on the shoulder or something like that it means that your friend likes you or is trying to tell you something
if its something more like a hard punch then it means that they hate you, what you are saying or they want a fight
