Are you for real? Your wife beats you?? Sorry but found your story a little weird.
If what you said is true, then you must confront her immediately. Sit down, in a private place, I would do it at home when just the two of you are there, and explain what you think, and what you are afraid of.
If she tries in anyway to avoid the conversation, you grab her, and make her sit down, and tell her she is not going anywhere until she clarifies all your doubts. If she becomes aggressive, you must stop her, and don’t even think about letting her beat you. Of course, you cannot beat her either, and do not hurt her. If things go out of control, stop, let her go or you go away, and try again when both of you have calmed down.
You must explain to her that things have changed, that you are doing your job the best that you can, and that all the sudden she is now confronting you for any small stupid thing you might have done wrong and that is not helping you out both as a professional at work, or in the relation with her.
And you must ask her if she is having an affair with him as well. She will probably get aggressive as per what you described, so you need to keep her calmed down as much as possible. Hopefully she will tell yo the truth and hopefully she is not really having anything with nobody.
If that is the case, then you need to explain to her that she has to change, and also offer to change yourself too if she thinks you are doing many things wrong. You two should be there to help each other.
On the other hand, if she admits having a relation with your VP, then you have a big problem as you will have to decide if you want to stay with her (as long she wants the same and is willing to stop that relation), or if you just want to end everything there.
Now, if things go very bad, I must advice you, do not let her and the VP step on you. Find a lawyer, do not tell anybody anything. Only your lawyer. And then you introduce a claim in the office against both your VP and her as they are trying to stop your career and trying to make you quit using inappropriate tactics.
That claim will be together with a legal sue against her and the VP, and a notice to the company as well that if no action taken, you will also look for compensation from them as well.
Good luck.

Slept her way to the top and mistakenly believes she is entitled to the power she earned.
Now you know. The sure fire way to tell the true personality of someone is to give them a little power, the true colors always come out.
I am sorry for you, but, divorce is a good thing here, and she may be the one who leaves the job if it gets too sticky and hte boss feels the affair may be exposed. Just a thought, but what would happen if there had been an affair and it became common knowledge?

I'm sorry, but all signs lead to infidelity. I'm a firm believer in home and work never crossing paths - for this very reason. I would look for another job - regardless of contract. (Your boss has already made it quite clear that you aren't valued) and cut my wife off completely. There comes a time when you must throw in the towel for your own sanity. She doesn't seem to give a second thought to your, your feelings, or due respect in front of others.

Since you are her husband and her man and she does not treat you as such I would talk to her.....tell her how you feel and if she does not change ....leave...
Don't waste time in your life with someone who is not willing to share it with you as a partner...
If she ever hits you again you should call 911 Spousal abuse be it make or female is not acceptable
It sounds like you need to be looking for another job or go even higher in the complaint process

Brother next time she hits you put her *** in jail! (Equal Rights!) She is definately sleeping with her boss. You just don't get hired at a company party unless there is some bonus invovled for the person doing the hiring! Believe me I know...

nothing you have an advantage your sleeping with the vp right hand man(gal). just show her you love her and are very proud of her... put your pride aside... you love your wife, right? then support her, then she'll support you! give it time... in the meantime you both make great money... take a vacation... she has traveled perhaps she has a couple of idea's and just spend time with each other.

You need counseling.
And you need to recognize that she BEAT you because she is hiding something. She IS having an affair. And she is "sleeping her way to the top" - she's unethical and immoral and so is the boss.
