If they signed a contract with you that will hold up in a court of law, and the work was not done...yes.

When working for someone and they're going to pay you to complete the job, it is your responsibility to finish 'all of it' or risk not being paid.

If you failed to complete you part of hte contract then yes. But if it was something like a favor to her then she cannot refuse to pay you for not doing it.
