I remember this musician from the late 80's. The name is something like Hadley Hawkensmith. Maybe the last name is 2 words? I don't know. Whenever I Google it, Smith & Hawken is the only thing that comes up.

Aiden Hawkan is the lead singer for a local San Francsico group called Highwater Rising. Their album The In-Between is one of my all-time favorite albums. He's got an amazing voice that sounds as powerful live as it does on the CD. Last year (or two years ago?) he came out with a solo album called Pillow & Records. It maintained much of what I loved about The In-Between.
