Can anyone help me out with my new AC adapter I just bought for my Compaq Armada computer on eBay? The computer is a model:7400-6366/T14/10.0/V/M/1, and when I connect the new adapter to it, to charge the battery, it causes the computer to shut down. The adapter is a Compaq #341809-101 and reads "for use with Compaq Series2910 family of computer products only". Is this the wrong adapter (bought new on eBay).
Thanks,
Leroy

It is not the recommended one for a 7000 series laptop. If it is causing the laptop to shut down, then obviously it is not compatible with the unit. Not familiar with the specs on the 2900 line....

I am pretty sure that the adapter will not work on your Armada. I have an M700 Armada and I know that they only use things from the Armada series.
