Okay, but this contains spoilers...you asked for it!
* Phyllis is unsure whether the baby is Nick's or Jack's. A paternity test IS done, but the only person who ever saw the results was Nick and he told Phyllis and Jack that the baby was a little Nick Newman, Jr. For some reason (probably to allow for more story in the future) they took him at face value and never asked to see the test results. To this day, no one but Nick has ever seen the test.
* Phyllis and Nick get married and are currently married, Sharon doesn't like it, but she's having casual sex with Jack while nursing a serious crush on Brad (who's married to Victoria--so they talk about how much they wish they'd had better timing, but have not acted on it in recent memory). She obviously is still in love with Nick, but he's all Phyllis all the time right now.
* Phyllis's baby is delivered in a snowstorm during a blackout while she is trapped in an elevator with Jack! It's some of the best Y&R in a long time as the baby's life is in danger and the characters play all the beats--the residual love that's left over from their previous marriage, the baby they lost years ago, and how Jack really would have liked for the baby to have been his and not Nick's (it might still be! see above...) There are some tense moments and the acting is awesome...and it's all confined to the space of an elevator, in the dark, good stuff!
* Phyllis has pretty much been boring--doing Mom stuff with Lauren (who also just had a baby with Michael and is suffering some serious post-partum depression--and a fear that Shiela might come after this baby like she did little Scotty all those years ago) and being a perfect wife to Nick. BUT that's only to draw contrast to the fact that...
* Shiela had plastic surgery to look exactly like Phyllis and tried to come and steal Lauren's baby. Paul caught her and is keeping her in a prison she had designed to keep Lauren in. Michael just found out and he's really conflicted--Michelle Stafford, who plays Phyllis, is doing a kick-*ss job as Shiela and is really scary all caged up.
The question is while Shiela was impersonating Phyllis and skulking around town, did she take Phyllis's place at any point?
I didn't want to go too much into other storylines so you have something to enjoy, but that's what's going on with Phyllis and her pregnancy!

Crystals' **Spoilers** are old news. Here's what's been going on if you've missed any shows:
Sheila currently is being portrayed by Michelle Stafford in an awesome dual role. She's kidnapped Fen, Summer & Phyllis after choking then shooting Maggie in the stomach to escape the cage in the warehouse. Paul was in the cage with Maggie & Michael rescued them when Paul didn't answer his cell phone.
Sheila/Phyllis conned Lauren into bringing Fen to her place. Phyllis was really gagged & bound in the closet. When Lauren opened the closet to hang her coat up, she spotted Phyllis.
Lauren was tied & gagged. Sheila/Phyllis kidnapped Fen, Summer & Phyllis. They're hiding out in some retirement community or motel room. Lauren has a gun from Paul & barged into the room, surprising everyone.
I wish this Sheila storyline would END soon. I'm sick of her coming back from the dead or the depths of soapdom. It's getting as bad as the Stefano DiMera storyline on Days of Our Lives.

i am hoping shelia's days are over. just before shelia died, they did lift up her shirt and her stab mark was there. i was hoping they would ask phyllis to lift up her shirt as well, but i don't think they did. shelia could have also left a mark on phyllis as well. shelia is a nurse so she could have done something like that to phyllis. still wondering what happened to jenna. also, it left you wondering if that mysterious call from some man about the bug found in brad's apartment was made to korbel cuz he hung up his cell phone and then called collieen.

No Shelia Carter is finally and completely dead. 3 people checked for a pulse and covered her with the sheet.
