Yes. No one wants to say something bad about someone who passed on, but to be honest she did not set an inspiring example. They were saying on the news that we should be inspired, because she was persistent or something like that - never gave up. But she did give up. She felt everyone was exploiting her, which they were, and she couldn't trust anyone, which she couldn't. How was she supposed to overcome the guilt and depression she felt about her son's death? It was too much for her. The only other way out for her was probably to get rid of everyone who was exploiting her, sever all ties and trust only herself. She didn't have much experience doing that.
All I can think of honestly is to be negatively inspired - not to make the mistakes she made or life the kind of life she led.

You know, I wasn't impressed by Anna Nicole Smith, or inspired by her. I was sorely tempted to change the channel every time I saw her on television, because every single interview that I ever saw made her look like a complete bubblehead. To me, she was extremely fake, and a perfect example of how American society tends to idolize all the wrong things.
However, as I read in this discussion at http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/740717.aspx?ref=akuseru , Anna Nicole Smith was also a human being. She wasn't the first woman to live such a lifestyle, nor will she be the last to live that way. The only difference between her and the countless other women who have partied and done drugs, or had doubts as to the paternity of their children, or had their mothers speak out and warn them of the danger that they're placing themselves in is the fact that Anna Nicole was in the spotlight when all those things happened to her. And she -was- a single, teenaged mother working minimum wage jobs. Even if she did go about it the wrong way, she -was- able to rise above that. Maybe that's what some people find inspiring about her.

I don't know who she might have inspired, unless it's that she inspired people to clean up their acts and get off drugs/alcohol or to lose weight.
Yes, she was a beautiful woman, but she had some major problems. I think that she was a lot like Marilyn Monroe, except that she wasn't a talented actress.
I used to watch her show and feel sorry for her that people in her life (yeah you Stern) should have stopped her and protected her from herself.
I feel sorry too for the baby she left behind and for her mother.
I hope that she does find peace now. I think that when all is said and done as far as the autopsy, they will find that she either died from something like stroke or heart arrhythmia from poor eating habits, lifestyle or too rapid and excessive weight loss with yo-yo dieting and dangerous weight loss pills (TrimSpa) or that she died from simple unintended overdose of medication and/or illegal drugs/alcohol.
VERY SAD!

Well i am not inspired by her, but she always had a good look.
Its sad for someone to go through what has gone through with her recently, she has just measured a really bad loss with her son, and then recently had a baby, and 20 days later recieved the own notice of her death, its sad to see someone go like that, lets hope for the best in her after live:
RIP Anna Nicole Smith. November 23, 1967-February 8, 2007

I totally agree with you. It is sad when anyone dies. But to be inspired by Anna Nicole? I don't think so. She led a terrible life in drugs and alcohol and affairs. She was so unhappy. That would be like me saying I am inspired by Elvis. Same situation.
I don't think she really saw that much of her son. I think that is why she reacted as she did when he died. She had some guilt there for the type of mother she had been to him
She could have 40 billion dollars and I would not have traded my life for hers. And I am one of those people who live from one paycheck to the next. She is the epitome of, "money cannot make you happy." NOTHING made that poor soul happy or content. How many other men are going to claim her daughter? And WHY are they claiming the daughter? For the money they think they will get.............Her infant daughter has no idea what is in her future.....................

People are sick they inspire to terrible people like the dirty old man Hugh Hefner who should be hung by his penis until it drops off. Apparently Anna Nicole Smith was famous for marrying a very old man, I think the age difference was so big that they were in the Guinness book of records. She was so obviously after his money as he was an old wrinkly when they married, I believe she didn't get much when the old geezer died, but it just shows what people will do for money and how many dirty old men there are out there.
Well I am certainly not inspired with any tarts, but unfortunately we are living in a world where women are judged by the size of their **** and sexual appeal and little else.

I live not far from her hometown in Texas, and considering that she made something of herself, despite her very small town upbringing is somewhat of an inspiration. Tragically, I think all she wanted was just to be loved and accepted. Her family has always wanted to cash in on her fame around here, and others surrounding her in Hollywood sadly took advantage of her as well. Her son loved her, and she absolutely adored him...he was the only one who stuck by her from the very beginning. She lived in the limelight, but underneath all the glitz and glam, she was a troubled person...very evident in her most recent interviews. While people may not approve of her lifestyle or her choices, she was a mother who sadly left behind an innocent child...my heart goes out to her.

You've got me. I agree with you. You can take the girl out of the the trash but you can't take the trash out of the girl. I hadn't heard anything about her that was positive, ever. It seemed like her life has always been a friggin' drama, frankly I think it's amazing she didn't off herself years ago. She's got the classic lifestyle and history that would make anyone insanely depressed. OK, I know I'm jumping to conclusions, and speculating about her death but hell, it's just my opinion. If someone could find inspiration in her than; at least she did provide some positivity to the world and deserves credit for that.....

I think she was a lost soul looking for a person who could love her for her. The mean and horrible things that are being said about this poor woman make me sick! She did love her children and whatever other problems she had in life it is not for us to judge her! Who of us do not face our own demons? To the woman who said," who would want to look like her?" I say millions of people would! She may have had a battle with weight that she was able to overcome, but you can always lose weight! You can't always have a beautiful face like Anna's or be tall and lovely like Anna. There are many stick figures in the industry, I have no desire to look like any of them. I would not mind having Anna's looks at all! It sure opened doors for her! The woman was a real beauty! I seen a picture of her when she was a 12 year old girl and she was always beautiful. Lovely when she had make up on and ever prettier without it. Not many can say that these days! God bless her soul and may she rest in peace!

I can't imagine what he meant by that. The only thing I can think
of ,is that while she lived she managed to survive . even given the
fact that she was a victim of her beauty and her weakness for
drugs. My heart goes out to her little child who will never know the
love of a mother. Her life should be an example to all, Beauty can be a blessing as well as a curse!
