Despite all of the news about how certain conditions cause an increase in health-care costs I have to point out that EVERYONE is going to get sick; and EVERYONE is going to die. It is just a timetable difference between the ones with a healthy lifestyle and the ones who don't take care of themselves. So unless you die of some catastrophic event in a sudden way, you too (and EVERYBODY else) will be a financial burden on the medical system.

So maybe we should give smokers discounts for speeding up the process for themselves ;-) something to think about.

The people responsible for the high cost of insurance are the insurance companies. Check out their profit margins if you can find them.

If that's so you might as well throw in the overwieght; as being overweight causes more complications such as heart disease, high cholesterol, and diabetes which lead to heart attack, stroke, coronary disease, etc.

We can have the credit companies check how many times a week you go out to eat.

I disagree with the article btw.
