hi i have a linksys WRT54GS router and with th router i got a adaptor which is a linksys WUSB54GS is that compatible with a xbox 360 so it can pick up th signal?

XBOX has its own wireless adapter - and it won't be able to load the drivers for your linksys adapter, so I'm afraid your still going to have to fork out about 60 quid.

yes it should be, i have the linksys WRT54GS router and know for sure it works, but not sure about the linksy wireless adapter, i have a belkins wireless gaming adapter and it took me forever it get it to work, and when i did finally, it said i may not be able to use all features of xbox live due to it not being a live compatible wireless adapter, so i would suggest for you to go ahead and spend the 100.00 bucks for the xbox 360 wireless adapter, but if not after installing all the software on your PC, take your wireless adapter and set up on your xbox, turn on. check your PC and make sure you have a connection through your network adviser then try to connect it should work fine.

I connect wirelessly. All you may do is purchase an Xbox 360 instantaneous adapter for like $one hundred. then you rather bypass to the farthest superb tab (device or something like that) bypass to community settings and it would be surprisingly worry-free from there.

Connect everything the way it should be and turn on the power and find out! If its wireless i would assume so! Grant it a wireless laptpop isnt the same but when i bought my laptop i was like man i have a router how do i make this work! I turned on my puter and set it all up then BAM the interent just worked! It was awesome!

i used to connect to x box live with the linksys wireless gaming adaptor but i had to phone linksys support to configure it and it worked fine

I've been told that only the Xbox 360 adapter, made my microsoft, is the only one that will work with the 360. Other adapters and receivers will NOT work.

There is a USB wireless Aeriel for the Xbox 360, which you need to connect. It should connect to any 802.11g network
