Clinton was a moderate, he really transcended party lines.

Well, he was the best President since Reagan, I'll definitely give him that.

Red China is funding his wife's campaign and they also did it for "slick Willie." Contact him and his wife's campaign headquarters. If they don't answer then you'll know what the score is. Willie like almost all liberal Democrats know that the votes are where the most people are, namely the poor (provide more welfare money, more whatever, etc.) & the lower middle class up to the middle class (who need educational scholarships for their children because they can't afford the high cost of a college education all by their lonesome). So if that's Socialist, so be it. The Republican view is to cut taxes on big business so they'll have more money to hire more people. Thus, there will be more jobs created because also more money will be spent (since more people have jobs) and thus, more businesses (especially small ones, which there are more of than big ones) will be created, hiring more people as they expand.

He was and is very much a Democrat. It was Newt Gingrich and the Republican Congress that made him actually get a balanced budget. I know Democrats hate hearing this, but it is a fact and a matter of congressional public record. The first years of Clinton were typical Socialist Democrat. And no, I am not a Republican. Actually I used to be a democrat until it became a cesspool of communists/socialists and sick idiots on the far left who have the audacity to call themselves " liberal progressives." Now I am an independent.

OH Yeah

He was the best GOP man in years.

Running as a Dem BlueStater was genius.

My favorite republican act Bill did was the TeleCom give away. That was even better than GATT or NAFTA

Go big Red Go

i think of Lincoln would qualify as being the final Republican President. u2zep73, I did understand that yet i do no longer think of those issues make Clinton a extra acceptable President than Lincoln, who saved the union and freed the slaves.

WORST! He was a liberal Dem! If he had stopped the Taliban, maybe we wouldn't have had 9/11. I blame him for the mess we are in because he DIDN'T act.

He insulted the office of the presidency. Anyone that says what he did in the oval office was only his business is not facing reality. He did it in the oval office - that makes it our business.

Mostly he LIED under oath. That's a felony!!! He's a sleaze bag.

While I don't agree with George, especially on illegal alien criminals, he didn't lie under oath to cover up the fact that he sexually harassed someone.

His war in Kosovo was Bush's Iraq & he couldn't keep his fly zipped, So NO. Reagan was the best Republican President during his second term, followed by Lincoln.

There was nothing Republican about Clinton, socially or economically. He raised taxes, did nothing to foster economic growth, and rode the wave of prosperity brought about by e-commerce for 8 years, only to have the bubble pop in August of 2000. The man did nothing.
