If you're going to bring attention to yourself, shouldn't you make sure your spelling and punctuation is correct? Or does that not matter to people anymore? I think it makes people seem uneducated.

Some of them are obviously from other countries (like the guy who is six feet tall and wants to know how many stone he should weight)

I don't know if they have spell check for them for English/American English.

The other thing is - on dial up - this is a VERY slow feature. I can see not wanting to do it. (I canceled out of it at my friend's because it was too slow!!!)

Bcuz they r 2 kewl 2 relize tht they cnt spel corectly.

I think it is because they just do not realize that the spell check feature is there. The other reason may be because they believe they cannot make mistakes. I would be willing to bet that most of the offenders are under 20 and have been using text messages and chat rooms for a long time. So to make the conversation move quicker they abbreviate the sounds as best they can. Hope this helps.

convinced , that occurred to me a pair cases on an answer and that i got here upon it grow to be only a setup , so unhappy that those that dont like your answer even regardless of the reality that not something in it grow to be a contravention, i imagine they ought to educate you the reason someone wrote, becuz both cases they purely had to be supported on offensive issues not get solutions. that is bunk, at the same time as there are some authentic rude and down proper violations that should be better effective monitored, yet when someone must be a yoyo , its no epidermis off my again. wise people savour both part of view, a minimum of i understand via listening to others that I dont trust the position or why they imagine what they do, proper or incorrect, yet i'm with you,on getting an unfair one I dont extremely get it,i wager some people decide on to be controlling or something

Some people are so concerned with this point system that they don't really care? Other people feel that mi spelling their words can help convey to the reader the intention they have as they ask the question. You can't tell by the tone of their writing how they are answering. Remember that 80% of the information most people get from a conversation is non verbal. Pitch of voice, clothes they are wearing, facial expressions, etc.

There are numerous reasons why people don't spell correctly on Yahoo answers. In my opinion I think they truely are imbecile's and lack knowledge. But most people on here are teenagers, and yes teenagers now a days think spelling "iz" instead of the correct way; "is" is cool.

Or they truely lack knowledge. Or most people are unbelievably lazy, and impatient.

I doubt people even care! As long as you can understand what they are trying to say, thats probably why people dont use it! I will admit I dont either. It is also time consuming, especially if you are someone that likes to answer a lot of questions on here!
