My apartment was set on fire years ago b/c the kids downstairs were playing with the stove while their parents were sleeping. Didn't lose that many things. Had to replace furniture, clothes b/c it all smelled. Some pictures were ruined by soot, but I had duplications made. All in all, we were blessed to make it out okay.

Not to me, but to my ex - so don't feel deeply saddened...except for the fact he had all of our daughter's stuff that I gave to him to have when she went to visit (which she did maybe once) so there went hundreds of things in baby supplies!!!! Expensive! Oh, and his tattoo equipment and art stuff was ruined...hahahaha. Wow, I'm evil. Oh well.....I'm sure it was such a tragedy to lose his apartment overlooking the beach in Venice, CA when he couldn't pay child support.
