I personally have always slated this woman, then I heard today that she died. She has been annihilated over her marriage to the ancient oil barron who died years ago and has never been allowed (until recently) to put in a claim for half of his money, she has been labelled as trash ever since (I too am guilty of labelling her thus) her son died 5 months ago in the same week her daughter was born. She has been embroiled in a paternity suit over the newborn baby, and has recently been caught up in a law suit about her losing weight so fast and attributing it to a magic pill.

Then today she is dead, no one knows why yet, but it is inferred that it's drug related.

My question is, how much can a person put up with? Do we, in our judgemental little worlds force a regular human being whose life is shown to us through glossy magazines and newspapers, into a tragic situation and outcome, never expecting the worst to happen?

Michael Hutchence, Paula Yates, even Marilyn. Whose fault is it?

Sure, Every Major TV Station Had A Break-In About It! But Since I'm Here, Let Me Give You My Two-Cents On This Situation, Simply Put "What Goes Around, Comes Around!" This Woman, Or Lack Thereof, Has Made A Semi-Successful Career Out Of Screwing The Family Of This Rich Old Guy In A Wheelchair, Practically Of His Death Bed, By Marrying Him Simply To Put A Claim On His Estate! This Is Classic Irony If You Ask Me, And Her So Called "Step-Son" Should Be Celebrating This Because Now He Can Claim What Is Rightfully His. This B*tch Got Exactly What She Deserved! And I Haven't Even Gotten To Her Refusing To Take The COURT ORDERED Paternity Test For Her Newborn, Or The Mysterious Murder Of Her Son! Like I Said She Got What She Deserved!!!

My genuine thoughts?

Even though a "superstar" was a human being like the rest of us

She,like the rest of us, didn't have a choice as to what family and circumstances we were born into

She made a change in her life and instead of staying in her environment which she did not like, moved ahead and tried to fulful her dreams - that was a brave thing to do

In her "new life" she became exposed to many good and bad things which we, the average person, would never come across - again, she made choices and decision the best she could

I am sure if I as a woman in my 20s married an 80 year old - a few eyebrows would be raised, but when my husband died I am sure I would be entitled to his estate. I never understood why all the problems - with that amount of money, surely all family members AND Anna could have "shared" it out??

Even with all her money she still may have died due to drugs - it just shows - how is a person with hardly any money able to kick the habbit with no finances and family support, when Anna couldn't with all the means at her disposal.

As a Mum I was so sad for her when she lost her son - a mother's worst nightmare.... and he looked like such a great kid.

One of her dreams came true and lives on in her little girl - apparently she really wanted a daughter and I am glad she got that.

They say she was such a different person in private and in public... very kind at all times.

I think we should all be able to live our lives the way we want, as long as we don't hurt anyone else by our actions

No-one was forced to like her, but I did

Wow...certainly I don't claim responsibility for anyone else's drug use or abuse. ALL of those people had as much chance as anyone else (more than you & I would have, considering the financing available) to find treatment.

Every single one of us has difficulties that we face, every day. To suggest that it's our fault that these other people turned to drugs over it is simply irresponsible. Plenty of people face this type of difficulty, and even worse, and manage without chemical dependencies.

On top of that, to suggest that we forced these people into these situations is just silly...All of these people you have refereced WANTED to be in the public eye...We didn't force it on them! And they could have walked away from it at any time.

For the record, what killed Anna Nicole Smith is very much still in question. We don't know that it was drugs (although I'm sure her heart was seriously taxed, simply due to historical drug usage!) Toxicology tests will take weeks to get back here. I have also heard someone say that it's possible that she & her son both died from a congenital heart defect which was overlooked at her son's autopsy, due to the toxicology results.

I don't think I would call it anyones fault. I think it's just a bunch of bizarre events that seemed to be magnified because she was in the spotlight.

Besides the saying is, "You bring what you can carry." Some people create the ruckus that surrounds them, call them poo-magnets.

This will be interesting to watch open up. The next thing will mostly likely be the paternity of the baby. Hopefully, it will be that Larry guy. He just seems like he truly cares about and for the baby- before all this strange stuff happened.

I see her life as sad, selfish, and wasted. No matter what her 'personal demons' were that drove her to this sort of life, we all have free will and can use our time on this planet in ways that serve God and help others. There are so many examples of people who overcame adversity in order to live lives of love.
I am very very sorry for the two children she brought into this world-- one dead so young, the other now motherless. I hope that whichever "father" this poor baby ends up with, she also gets a mother whose priority is loving and nurturing this tiny girl. I pray for that baby.
She did not ever want to live the life of a "regular human being". The media did not ruin her life--- she lived a life craving media attention and using her beauty and brains to get the wild self-centered life she chose. Why are we surprised to see her karma catch up to her? Her values were misplaced.

I'm very sad about her death. I hope she has some peace now.

By the way, Paula Yates wa a complete unknown until she murdered her own 5 children what does she have to do with Anna Nicole or the media or anything?

She was a person, that the world make fun of (me included) and It was very easy, to labelled her as trash. Somewhere along the line, we forgot that she was a real human being with feelings too. I find this incredibly sad.

She has lived with fame for many years, so she was used to that. You cant blame the fame. If anything, it is the tragic loss of her son whom she loved tremendously for 20 years and to lose him on such a happy occasion (the birth of her daughter) had to be devestating. You would think she would be able to hold on for her daughter, but I think it was too much for her. Unless you have lost a child, I dont think you could ever understand the extent of her pain.

I have always felt sorry and a little embarrassed for her. I hope she can find peace now and be with her son whom she loved.

A person should be held to account for their own actions.

If she took drugs, OD'd, and died, then that's her business. The fact that she's in the public eye (mostly be her choice) is inconsequential.

The fact that she (or anyone) died yesterday is tragic, but...she brought it on herself. Too bad.
