I'm in my first two months and the only thing that is sore is my nipples. My breasts have grown larger but have never been sore. It is absolutely normal and you should have nothing to worry about. I am in my first pregnancy but, I have been around a few pregnancies within my family and they all had this too.

Try wearing breastpads (found in the baby aisle) this will help keep your nipples warm and hide them when they stick out.
And yes they do get more sensitive. But don't worry, I always had extremely sensitive nipples (I hated people touching them ever, even in bed) and of all the problems I had breastfeeding the only pain I had was from a bad latch. Yes in the begining your nipples and breasts may ache like your muscles after a long work out, but true pain is usually caused by a problem -no matter how sensitive your nipples are.

I never had tenderness in my breasts. But I have nipple pain. Not just when they get hard. But sometimes they feel like they are going to POP off!! =D
Its not fun. Try put the heating pad on them on low heat for a little while.

Yeah, that's perfectly normal. Sounds like you are getting ready to grow more there and start making colostreum--premilk.
To ease the pain, put a towel in the freezer for a while then ice yourself down, so to speak.

It is just one of those things. If you plan on breastfeeding you should start toughening up your nipples now. Cause believe me it hurts like hell when you try to breastfeed a baby when your nipples aren't "ready". Good luck to you.

Oh yes! My hubby couldn't so much as pass a finger by them becasue I thought they would burst! It fluxuates now for me. Sometimes they are very tender and hurt a lot, other times they are fine. It's very normal, nothing to worry about!
