I have recently been tasked with writing a newsletter for our employees at work, the problem is I am having a block on inspiration for catchy names. We are a retail/leisure company that has employees all around the world, can you help?!!

Here may be a few headers(catchy phrases ) to think of....or use.

From Persuasion to Conversion............
Breaking through the clutter..........
Leading the consumer into temptation …

Do any of you actually read your company newsletter?
Now come on, admit it - how many of you actually look forward to receiving your company newsletter? Do you wait for that Monday morning of the second or third month with your heart beating in anticipation of the great read you're about to receive?

Or perhaps when it's delivered to your desk, you quickly stash it in your briefcase, making a mental note to take it out and savour it over the weekend, whilst lying in bed relaxing. Or perhaps you discreetly shove it in the bin when no-one's looking. Judging by some recent newsletters I've seen, the latter scenario is definitely the most likely......Let's also not forget the Chairman/CEO/Director's message. This can and often does turn into a mini pep talk (wagging finger included) to the staff - morale booster, you say?

And then in between we hear how sales are going in every town and province, what advertising was placed and where and how the squash league is coming along... gripping stuff.

So how can a newsletter be made interesting? Remember, we have some interesting stories in our company - maybe some staff are involved in great volunteer work and deserve a pat on the back (mention them)....and find out all the good humour stories out there. Get input from the staff, you may actually get a few pages of news and articles that you might actually want to read......Then slowly get into leisure and freedom and vend and sales and stress and new company rules etc...
Kind regards

Wow...OK when I only read the question, I was gonna tell you that we just started our office newsletter at work and named it "News & Rumors". It's just basically office news & anything important in our agent's lives. (Getting married, vacation, etc) but I guess that wouldn't be a great name for the Parents & Friends Committee for a Catholic school huh? Anyway I read the answers & the best one I've seen is The Apostle. Crusader's Chronicles The Crusader was good too P&F "In The Know" would be cool.... I dunno, there are lots of options! I have learned in publishing ours that crosswords are good fillers if you don't have a good story, also include a calendar of important dates/meetings/events. I know it's a little off-subject but a small newsletter is a BIG job for the people putting it together!! Hope this helps

what letter does your company's name begin with. if you can link it to something else it will sound catchy. when I was doing one I lived in a place called merritts brook so i called it 'merrits brook mouthpiece'.
