Why not attack them for this very reason? Would it be too "offensive"? Too politically incorrect ? What do you think ?

the democrats dont want to offend them...even tho they call for the annihilation of israel and america...kind of makes you wonder, dont it...??? well either have to do it soon, or do it later...what happens after iran gets the nukes and intimidates the rest of the region to fall into line behind them and then they think they have the economic, military power to confront the west..??? its just too bad america has lapsed into this lethargic "today" mindset...we will probably have to be attacked again to do anything about them...hopefully, this time we will annihilate everyone involved and all those around them who support and cheer them on...for all you libs and appeasers who say war never solved anything..i say look at japan and germany...look at rome...look at britain...wars pretty much fixed those countries...if the arabs and muslims want to go to war...i say let it be now while we have the military power and somewhat of a resolve to put them down, not after the dems have turned this country into a socialistic trashpile...

Where did you get your information that they are fighting us in Iraq? From Bush? From the "intelligence" reports?

Wake Up you are being scammed again by Bush & Co. to justify their next move in their quest for world domination through oil control.

9/11, Afganistan, Iraq, middle east pandamonium, the Patriot Act and the invasion/bombing of Iran were all pre-planned starting in 1991 under Bush I. The plan was refined during the Clinton years by a group called "the Project for a New American Century" aka. PNAC. The PNAC plan became official government policy on 9/20/2001.

Several Reasons.

1.) It's easier to fight a condensed war in a smaller area than a war around a bigger field.

2.) There are still hopes of peaceful resolution.

3.) Attacking Iran will likely mean the loss of innocent lives.

If we go after Iran we will probably have to fight Russia. Russia has suggested on more than one occasion that we have no business in Iraq and that they hope we have better judgement than to think we can expand this war into Iran.

Patience my friend, patience . President Bush has been waiting for the Dems and the weak-kneed Reps to go on record as being for or against the troop surge . AFTER they do, watch what happens . He'll bury the Dems and weak Reps, he knows it, and so does his staff . One of the most brilliant political moves I've ever witnessed .
Iran will be hit hard. . . and probably 1000's of targets all in one day .

The inside track !!!

What gives us the right to be in their back yard? Just like the israel firsters from here always say, a sovereign nation has a right to defend themselves.
