I would have no problem voting for a woman president. I don't think it will happen in 2008 because the one woman in the race is so hated, although no one says why, that she may not make it to the general election anyway. I vote for the candidate that most closely matches my own views. That may be a man, a woman, someone of color it doesn't matter.

Yes, on the same basis that I would for any candidate.
If a woman is capable of working her way against the odds to vie for the top slot, shes got to be extraordinary, smart, sharp and brutal, and that's what it takes today.
Anger is an emotion too and one that men get into considerable trouble handling. Just look at the statistics on men in prison for violent crimes and you get a different picture on the emotional stability of men.
Margaret Thatcher was a political leader respected all over the world as was Golda Meir, during a war and in the Middle East too, and many, many others.
If you read the post below you will know why not all men are automatically better at being in charge.

I would vote for a woman president. Just not any of the current contenders. Gender would not be a determining factor, just integrity, honesty and support of my Second Amendment rights.

both Pakistan and England had a lady chief! what's quite everyone interior of united statesa. lacking? it would not count even if you're male or woman or your race. What concerns is that the guy who's elected posses all the characteristics and characteristics the their factors choose. and they could manage and make recommended judgements with the intention to regulate the rustic. It kills me that persons vote in line with gender or race. That tells me that the voter did not make an recommended determination quite an 'off the cuff' determination.

Yes I would. If she were qualified. I am not sure Hillary is qualified enough. Besides how much worse could a Woman do? Our country is at war. The economy is in the toilet, unemployment is up, we fail to take care of our own people during national disasters. etc.

Absolutly. Women (well some women) are much better in some areas than others. Example: women can cook better (no pardon for the thanksgiving turkey) women are smarter (just look at how fast they pop the midol prior to the big OTR day) women smell better (just smell one) women can see things men dont care about (just look how fast they pop a zit) women have larger carbon footprints (just look at all the nail remover they dump) women can swim better (just look at the boyancy of silicone) women like shoes more (Amelda Marcos) the list goes on and on. I think a woman should be the next president of Iran

Absolutely not. the role of president should be a man, not a woman. women are too emotional and have no control over it. i do believe that a woman could do the job but not nearly as well as a man. the white house is no place for a woman unless she is the 1st lady.

Yes if & only if I believed that she was the best choice available. In other words, Condi Rice yes, Hillary Clinton no.
