Our computer is on the fritz, and we're thinking we may need to reformat. I'm worried about losing all my music. Is it possible to save my iTunes library to a disc and re-add it, or will I lose everything?

I've looked at some similar questions that others have asked, but I don't know if any of these suggestions would work. Thanks!

If you have iTunes 7 then it has that option build in.

Its under File => Back up to Disc

Better be ready with lots of CD's or DVDs if possible

There are software out there, like Senuti (for Mac only I think) that will actually allow you to transfer musi off of your ipod to your new machine.

I hope this helps

You have two options:
1. Burn all your songs to a CD or DVD.
2. Copy your songs to an external HD or your iPod.
