the couple is going to be "in love" all the time. Is that even reasonable? What does "I will always love you, but I'm not in love" with you really mean?

Relationships have there ups and downs and they will be times when you love your partner but not in love with them at the moment because they have hurt youor angered you

But when it's actually said, that simply means that your partner had found another lover

I was in a relationship in love for 7+ years. Does that count as long-term? I would not have missed it for the world. Being in love with someone is a far more intense and personal situation. One is far more vulnerable, sensitive, and responsive. Your heart and soul is laid bare and your emotions are almost off the scale.

Whether it is reasonable or not, some couples are "in love" all the time. The emotional and sexual chemistry is so in tune that you can never imagine what that is like. I had that once.

I love a lot of people and care about them. I am not in love with anyone at this time.

23 years here and I love hubby to death. I don't like him sometimes, and I know he couldn't possibly like me sometimes cause I don't even like myself all of the time.

There isn't anything abnormal about feeling that there are lapses in romantic love. The love is there, it just gets kind of sidelined every now and then in the course of living.

I will always love you but I am not in love with you...means you are history. You can't be in love, the hearts and flowers mode, all of the time, but I have never not been in love with my husband. I adore him, in all ways, even when I'm cursing under my breath at having to clean up the honey he spills on the kitchen floor for the 7 millionth time in my life. That's love. If it wasn't, I would clean it up with his face. Careful buddy, get out now before things get ugly. She's telling you like it is, believe her.

That is one thing that is always the same about every man, they never believe anything is wrong, and they never believe their woman is serious, until she is out the door. Even then they think the woman really doesn't know what she is doing and will suddenly wake up and come back, all apologetic.

What really happens is that a woman finally can't stand it anymore and she leaves. She is so frigging relieved to be away from you that no amount of remorse from her man is going to cheat her out of a little well earned freedom.

Lesson here guys, listen to your woman and take her words seriously. Once she is out the front door, it's too late....really, because women do mean what they say and they say everything that is in their hearts or on their minds, all the time. All you have to do is listen and if that is too much for you then you're going to have to get used to living alone.

You're too late guy, the bloom is off the rose and she's already packed up, out the door and decorating her new apartment in her mind.
Here's a clue....how long has she been on a diet? Has she changed her hair lately?

I will always love my ex husband. I will always love my mum as well. I am in love with my husband. In my opinion, being in love is the deepest emotion. Having love for someone is just that. I love my bestfriend but Im not in love with her. When you are in love with someone they are your world. Love doesnt -end- and if someone says they dont love you any more that actually means " i didnt love you, I thought I did but I cared for you and liked you or lusted over you" Sorry, just my thoughts on it....

I love my best friends~ but I'm not in love with them! To be in love means that you have given them your heart and you want to be with them forever! To just love them means that they are like family to you!

It's kind of like "I don't like you; but I love you"! You love the person but you don't like what they do!

You can love a person but not be in love with them.To love you feel caring, compassion and genuine concern for their overall well being on a personal level and accept them for who they are.To be in love, you have a desire to share yourself openly and intimately as well as loving them like the above. You don't have to be attracted to a person to love them but to be in love there is attraction.

I would expect you to be "in love" all the time. Doesn't mean you have to "like" what they say or do. Love isn't convenient. You can't just love them when it suits you.

means they love u and always will, but they aren't in love with u, in love/in lust. means they may be in love with someone else. i would be so insulted and hurt if my boyfriend said this to me. if they aren't in love with u it usually means that they are in love with someone else.

COUPLES FALL IN AND OUT OF LOVE ALL THE TIME.

NOBODY CAN EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOVING SOMEONE AND "IN LOVE" WITH SOMEONE. AT LEAST, NOT THAT I'VE SEEN/HEARD.
