I think it should have been Rex Grossman because he blew the game in the second half for the Bears. But seriously i think Dominic Rhodes. Peyton had an ok game.

Coming into the Super Bowl,I thought that surely the Bears would win because of their defense, who didn't bother to show up. Instead,it was the Colts defense who got pressure on Grossman and prvented Manning from getting sacked. Therefore, the MVP should go to the Colts' defense.

You could've given the MVP to at least 3 Colts players: Peyton Manning, Dominic Rhodes, or Joseph Addai. I think because there was no real clear-cut MVP they gave it to Peyton because well, he had a pretty good game, not great but good.

I really think Bob Sanders should've gotten serious consideration for MVP, he set the tone for the Indy defense right from the start by knocking Benson out of the game, and was a headache for Grossman the rest of the way.

I think they should have given it collectively to the Colts O-line because of the way the Colts rushed the ball. Unfortunately, they don't do that sort of thing. My second choice would have probably been Addai or Rhodes. It was inevitable that Peyton would get it though.

I would have liked to have seen the award given to the O-Line of the Colts as a group. Peyton was alright...the running backs were both good...and all was because the line was exceptional last week.

I suppose there would have been a difficulty with awarding the car to five or six guys, though.

Face it there was no outstanding player in the game. I still thought that Rhodes and Addai were going to share the MVP award. Those two deserved it more than Manning.

Rex Grossman had 2 underthrown passes in the 4th quarter, and that is all he will be remembered for. He did not play that badly. Devin Hester should have won it for providing the best play of the game.

The MVP went to Peyton because of the sentimental value of "he finally won one". People like Peyton and they wanted to see him win. It's just like when John Elway got his first Super Bowl victory and they gave him the MVP even though Terrell Davis did all the work with 157 on the ground and 3 TD's whereas, Elway only had 123 through the air and 0 TD's. People liked Elway and wanted to see him win so he got the MVP.

The Colts Cheerleaders deserve the MVP's.

If you say give it to a line.. make it D-Line for snubbing the Bears offense.

But no.. it should have been Rhodes, he played a very very good game for his firt year as a starter
