Which "The Office" show is better: The original british or the american?

I personally like the American version better. Don't take me wrong, the British version is great but there is something about the one here that is a lot funnier... Plus.. Dwight can not be replaced...

I like the American version too. Maybe it's the british humor that I don't get or something, but Steve Carroll is too great.

I agree I like Dwight better than Gareth. I thought the British one was just as funny but I couldn't handle the awkwardness of it. Ricky Gervais is the master of the off-color comment and the explanation that had to follow. But I like the American version better because it is a bit more comfortable to watch, less racism/sexism/pick your -ism. The things they got away with on the British show would never get past the American censors.

I think the British version had better writing, and of course, was original. But I like the American version better because I think they made the characters better.

The American one of course, I tried watching the British one and I didn't like it. I agree no one can replace Dwight K Schrute.

Honestly, it depends which one you watch first. I watched the British one long before the American and I got to say that it just doesn't compare to Ricky and the gang.

certainly I questioning the comparable element! have you ever considered the yankee Skins? Pile of s***e!! ha ha yet in addition The brits reproduction individuals exhibits too, like 'Pimp my holiday' god that became undesirable! and 'Geordie Shore'
