it is changeble in many colours not just two or three, after you hold it in your hands for a few moments.. i've tried, i've seen it but i don't know what name has this stone

A mood ring or mood stone - isn't really a stone.

It is liquid - which is why you always see it in some sturdy container.

(They are really neat though!)


If you find a really large one - there used to be some - you could press on it with the tip of your fingernail - and the patterns show you the liquid quality.



(Moon stone - which someone else refered to - is a differnent. It is a real stone, pale white/blue in color. Sort of looks like an opal with no colored flecks. (doesn't change color) Just want to tell you so you don't get confused.)

I use to think it was a moon stone but it's a mood stone.
