I came across this show on Bravo. Their families are a mess. They think they look good, but what Idiots they come across. Drugs, juve hall, no where baseball career ratyher than college. Money hungry rich kids and divorced wives looking for the next sucker to give them money. Oh, and they want us to cry because one of them lost their house in divorce and their kids horse riding. boo hoo.

I love the real housewives. I do NOT watch "desperate housewives" b/c when i hear about the storylines it just sounds so contrived, mean-spirited, vindictive, superficial, and i CAN"T stand that longorio lady (Tony Parker's fiance??!!!) Plus i was a melrose place junkie, and there's only so much marcia cross one can take...
Anyways, what i like about the REAL Housewives is the unpredictability. Take the whole Jo and Slade thing, for example, what a mis-match made in heaven??!! Maybe you simply prefer scripted to spontaneous??!! I will never amass that wealth (and i'm not sure that i would like to), so i prefer to live vicariously through these folks.
I encourage you to watch some of the mini-blocks when Bravo plays past episodes back-to-back. I also suggest you look at Tammy's story and how she went from living in the largest house in Coto to living a relatively humble lifestyle. I think of the Real Housewives as anthropology and entertainment. Maybe it hits a nerve on some psychic, unconscious level??!!

I can't say I enjoy watching it. Sometimes when I'm flipping I stop at it. It's like a car wreck, I just can't look away. I can't help but look at how fake they all look and act. I wonder if they think they actually look good with their fake noses, fake breasts, collagen-injected lips and fried, dyed blonde hair. And then Jo, the brunette is so immature. She still thinks she is a college-aged party girl. It's really annoying. However, it is good to see that some of them have some pretty well-adjusted kids.

Who cares- its for entertainment purposes only. I watch it because I LOVE the landscape and the beautiful houses. Palm trees are my fav. Thats why I am a sucker for shitty shows like laguna beach and maui fever- they all suck, but they are for our entertainment. I don't take anything I see from that show seriously and hopefully no one else does either. we all have our problems- they just choose to be on tv.

I love this show! You should have watched it from the beginning....this is the second season of the show. I guess it just goes to show that money doesn't buy happiness, though, right?
