What do you think about the new trend in summer, to wear Sneakers (Adidas Superstar, Nike TN, K-Swiss lorzen, ...)
without the laces?

I think yes and no. It is still "in" I think to wear Sneakers/Trainers without laces but if you wear laces you have to make sure your Sneaker/Trainer laces look the part (like tying a tie/how you wear a tie) otherwise then i'd say it is not popular - hence removing the laces. Hope this helped.

Its no big deal. This is an old fad that is popular for kids. But it can be dangerous because a lot of people will fall. Hey, this is the price of looking cool, right? lol

I have always thought it to be pathetic to be totally brutal with you. it was one of the ways wanna be "bad boys"would try to emulate prisoners who had their laces removed so they could run away or do harm to themselves

more and more we learn kids can't tie their own shoes, because from the beginning the shoes & sneakers are velcro or slip-on's.
No laces; lazy, simple, future

Why lace up your shoes anyway? If your pants are falling off your butt and your shirt is 5X's bigger than necessary, why not cap it off by removing your laces?
People will copy any fashion trend, it's pathetic.

Just seems really impractical to me. What happens if you have to run for the bus - you'd leave them behind!

I think people are just getting more stupid and less creative so they "bring back" fads and trends to feel "cool."
