I am going out with some friends tomorrow night & was just wondering if this would look okay-good. A halter neck j-lo cut top in a black with a pair of levis jeans & a sandel with a handbag.
My step mom had bought the top for me a few days ago. So was just thinking of wearing that to go out tomorrow night??? Comments?? My hair will be blow dried (shoulder lenght hair) & i will have make up done.

Well everything goes with jeans and everything goes with black. The fact that I dont know what color the jeans are (faded, bleached, stone wash) doesnt give me much visual. The fact that you asked this question with little detail about the sandels and hangbag means you do not feel comfortable with the top.
I am a big fan of JLO and I love her clothes, and the black top with jeans sound like a very basic combo. Its sounds cool and casual so i think it be will fine to wear to go out with friends.

Sounds good. Just make sure you're comfortable in it before you go out for the night wearing it for the first time. And make sure you have the bra situation handled.

Without seeing the outfit on you its hard to tell. If it fits in all the right places (not too tight, or showing skin that shouldn't be), and as long as you feel comfortable and beautiful, it sounds like you have picked the right outfit.
