The question is not about the country, but the construction of the sentence. Does it make sense in English or we have to use one complement like: "...during three years", for example. Any correction to the construction of my text are wellcome.

If you no longer live in New Zealand, it is correct. It will likely prompt the person with whom you are speaking to ask a question like, "How long did you live there?"

To this question, you would respond, "I lived in New Zealand for three years."

If you want to tell the whole story initially -- without prompting the question -- you could just say, "I lived in New Zealand for three years."

I hope this helps.

Yes it is correct. "I lived in New Zealand for three years" is also correct. "During three years" is not correct. You could say "I lived in New Zealand for three years. During this time I made many friends.", or "During the three years I lived in New Zealand, I made many friends." English is a strange language, isn't it! I hope this helps.

"I lived in New Zealand" requires qualification such as "I lived in New Zealand for 10 years and now I live in Barcelona.". If you want it as a stand alone geographical statement then "I used to live in New Zealand." would be better technically but both are perfectly understandable. Conversly "I lived in New Zealand" might also be construed as "I lived" (I partied on,Dude) as opposed to living somewhere else where you are having a a less than good time. It's really all contextual.

Depends on the question really
.
Q: Where did you live previously?
A: I used to live in New Zealand.
A: I have lived in New Zealand.

Your answer is grammatically correct though.

You can say 'I lived in New Zealand,' providing you no longer live there. Beware of during! 'I lived in NZ during the 80s,' is OK.

If you are no longer in NZ the correct form would be 'I lived in NZ for 3 years.'

If you are still living in NZ then you can say either, 'I have lived in NZ since 2002' or, 'I have lived in NZ for 5 years.'
