so going on the fact that its a winter formal im guessing that its a deep purple. if so - i would suggest Almay's "intense" eyeshadow for brown eyes. its a 3-set pack and i have blue eyes so im not totally sure on the brown colors but i think it comes with a tan/nude color, a light pruply/pink, and a darker purple/brown. this will look nice against your tan skin, accent your hair color, bring out your eye color, and match your dress! so there ya go. also the have mascara and eye liner specifically for brown eyes that would make your eyes stand out even more. i think the eyeliner is called raisin, but im not sure about the mascara. they have two different types of "intense". they have "intense" and "play up" the brown. hope this helps.

I would definitely go easy on the makeup since the dress seems to be the focal point. I agree with the gray's and maybe even a light green (very subtle). It sounds like you are young so you can get away with a more daring look with makeup but if you go that route go easy on the hair. You want to look naturally beautiful, not like a clown. Try maybe a charcoal around the eyes only and a little white shimmer below the brow. Light lipstick, lots of mascara and a bit of blush. Have fun!!

Well with a purple dress, purple would be pretty, go for a dark smoky look maybe. Or green would look nice with your brown eyes and the dress. Or silver / gold for a sparkly evening look

wear a very very light shade of green, as it compliments tanned skin tones and the colour purple. If you don't like green, wear an icy blue eyeshadow, as it will go well with your dress. have a nice time at your formal xox

I think with tan skin and brown eyes you should use a coppery gold shade. That would look great on you. Don't do purple eyeshadow. I hate when people match their makeup with their clothes...ghetto. These are some shadows I recommend. These are all MAC shadows:
Amber Lights(peachy brown w/golden shimmer)
Rice Paper(peachy golden shade)
Mythology(crowning copper)
Tempting(rich coco)
Hope this helps

you're fantastic, you should use darkish purples. i latterly went to a evening function in a black dress and that i used an eggplant colour for the exterior lash and a lighter pink for the foreheadwith a shimmery pink for the inner to mid lash. you are able to likely also use grays and charcoals, yet when the pink eyeshadow is utilized wisely, it will make your eyes pop. you are able to frequently discover the colorings that you want on an identical pallet. sturdy success and need you've a tremendous time.

A purple eye shadow with glitter would look good, you should always match your eye shadow with what ever color of clothing you are wearing. You probably don't want to use a real dark eye shadow, you'll want to use a light glittery purple the glitter will make it stand out and look cute.

I would say to wear a neutral color that blends into the skin so that its not a color overload! either that or a silver color. Just experiment at home and see what looks like! Good luck, but im sure you'll great no matter what color you wear!

Dark gray or medium gray highlighted by very light gray/white would look terrific. Purple shadow will likely clash with your dress. If you are going to overstate your fabric, understate your makeup, but DO use lip liner to define and enhance your lips. Best of Luck!

I say grey. I do NOT say purple. Your makeup shouldn't always match your outfit. Your dress sounds pretty flashy so I think if you were wearing purple and purple it would be too much.
