Great movie, one of the best Westerns ever made.

Clint Eastwood became famous for playing in what was called "spaghetti westerns". These were shot on the cheap in Italy The first was called, "A Fistfull of Dollars", the second, "For a Few Dollars More" and the third was called "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". He was called the Man With No Name, in these because he never gave anyone his name. Before these, Clint was just another TV actor, these movies made him a star. Why, for the reasons you mention, he was super cool. . Great movies, all of them. (incidentally, the first one A Fistfull of Dollars is actually a retelling of a Japanese movie, called Yojimbo)

Yeah. Popular in 1967-68. Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef. The theme song was odd, but you'd soon get used to it. It's violent, and young Clint looks pretty cool. A real guy-flick. An unusual western, and none of the characters are very pure at heart. You'd probably like it.

Great movie. A classic spaghetti western. One that Clint Eastwood will always be remembered for, that and Dirty Harry.

Clint Eastwood made some great movies back then. You will also like "Pale Rider" and "Hang Em High" and "Outlaw Josey Wales" and "Two Mules for Sister Sara" and "High Plains Drifter."
