You shouldn't. Let them get the salaries down from astronomical figures, so a typical family can afford to go to games again.

Only go to games that mean something. EXAMPLE: I am a Chicago White Sox fan who lives in Los Angeles that means the only time I ever buy a baseball ticket is when the White Sox visit Orange County. WhenI was living in Illinois, I would only go to either opening day or a game that had a fireworks show. I wouldn't go if a crappy team was visiting and take a chance of getting carjacked by those thugs on 34th street after the game is over. I love baseball but I have common sense.

Because most MLB teams like the White Sox put together a great baseball experience. So sit down and enjoy your $6 beer!

If you really are an avid fan, then you will spend your money on baseball. Everything comes back to the fans. The huge contracts are given because that will put people in the seats and generate tv ratings. Drop your " what do they do for me" crap and continue to enjoy the game.

The choice is yours. You can either watch an inferior minor leauge product or pony up a few bucks to see the big boys play. At miller Park in Milwaukee I can get a seat for 5$, wait untill I leave to have a beer and treat myself to the best bargin in professional sports in the country. You are either a fan or you are not.

It's your choice. If you want to see MLB baseball in person then do so. If not, it's your choice.
You'll be missing a lot.

Don't go to the movies, don't buy cable, don't buy any Microsoft products, don't shop at WalMart, etc.
Just because a product is successful doesn't mean you have to ban it. MLB is entertainment much as Hollywood is.

Well. What reason do you have for not buying their product anymore? Otherwise, why wouldn't you if you are an "avid" fan?
