I can't stand needy friends. I hope you haven't told her too many secrets because when you finally dump her, she's going to be an enemy. Say something to her like, "what would you do if someone just kept inviting" so on, and see what she says. If she gets the hint, good, if not, do to her what she said she would do if it happened to her. She isn't a friend, she is a user.

Yes I had a friend like this too she used me and every time I did something with someone else she would invite herself. You definetly need to be prepared if you do break up and you told her secrets cuz she is going to tell others it happened to me but I lived and you know what we get along now we're not friends anymore just say hi in the halls or something but you don't need to be around people like that. Be around people that make you a better person. She will find the people that she fits in with so tell her that you are getting annoyed with the way she's acting if you can salvage the friendship and she can change thats great

Tell her that she can't be with you all the time. She has crossed the line and her constant presence is now really annoying. If she whines, be strict and keep saying no. Make sure that she doesn't know when you plan to go do something. If she finds out, say no all the time, but when she doesn't know, invite her to come along occasionally. She'll eventually get the message that you (and she) need(s) boundaries and she will respect you for that. Good luck! ;)

Tell her "I'm sorry, it's just me and Mandy tonight. But if you're free tomorrow afternoon, we can go to the mall." If you set aside some time just for this friend, she will probably be less clingy at other times, since you have your own "special time."

Tell her that you are busy and that you have really important things to do. If she gets mad at you still, then maybe it would be better not being her friend at all. You don't need clingy friends who don't let you breathe.

EWWW my ex bff did that ****. I HATED it. I just stopped inviting her places. One time, my sister, her boyfriend and i were headed up to my boyfriend's house and drove past the 'bff's house and she saw us and called and said, "I SAW YOU GUYS, drive back and get me!" UGH, i hated it! Everyone knew she invited herself places too. So Just stop taking her. Actually, just stop TALKING to her in general. Thats what i did.

You need to be honest with yourself as well as your friend. Besides, if she gets mad, so what? She needs to deal with it and get over it!
