I'm planning to ask this guy that works in a shop i visit very often to go out for a coffee this weekend, however, last sunday when i was in the shop looking at some cd's...i casually looked up and saw him talking to his colleague, but while talking to his colleague about some paperwork he was looking over at me...and it was a look that lasted longer than just a glance passing in my direction...then, when he looked back down to write something, he smiled to himself.... Does this mean anything or am i reading to far into it? and, do you think i should ask him out? I'd appreciate any advice! Thanks :-)

It could mean something, or it could have been a coincidence. You won't know unless you try! Good luck! Good for you! I never had the nerve to ask guys out. I always waited for them to ask me. Usually you can tell though. If someone sustains a glance at you & smiles it's a good sign (I don't do that unless I find someone attractive). Men are becoming less aggressive these days & don't always make a move so it can't hurt to try. The worst that can happen is he says no but it's not the end of the world. Don't take it personally. He'll probably say yes (unless he's already in a relationship or something). If not, it's his loss!

Good luck!

It depends... If he was looking AT you, then yes, it might mean he likes you. But if he was only looking in that direction, aimless, just to concentrate... Try to remember it well, and see which one of the above suits his "stare":)
If you're not sure, before asking him out, try passing by and smile when your eyes meet; if he smiles back warmly, then go for it! You have nothing to loose, he's just a cute guy, the world's full of 'em! :)

Everything means something, or depending on how you look at it, means nothing. Bottom line is that you'll never know what he was thinking, so it becomes a decision to act or not act. Trying to figure it out before you act is a waste of time and energy, and ultimately leads to indecision, which leads to lost opportunities.

You'll know when you get the guts to ask him out for coffee won't you? It's a nice feeling though isn't it? Enjoy that, but don't let it cloud your judgement or you will be a nervous wreck when you see him next.

It can either be...
1. He likes you, and notices you
2. He was making fun of you, and talking to collegue about you
3. He was talking to collegue about you, but in a good way
4. He didn't mean to stare at you, and you just exaggerated

or .. I dont know. But just ask him what was he discussing with the collegue.. and ask for coffee. If he says NO, life goes on, dont worry, at least now you know. :)

He's looking to get laid. You should ask yourself how well to you really know him? Are you looking at him the same way he looks at you? Because I swear, it sounds like a "Wham, Bam, Than-you, ma'am" thing.

It could mean something or it could mean nothing. The only person who can answer that question is him.

If you like him, ask him out! I'm sure he'll be flattered.

Stop wasting time, ask him yourself and see if that leads to a date!

If you only want to know if it means something, then simpily ask him out to find out. Is it better to know or not to know? I cannot choose that for you.

I don't know if it means anything, but why not asking him out?
