For various Unis usually on their websites, or in their libraries website.

We weren't told what books we would need until a week before each module began so you might not find what your looking for, plus the fact that some Unis like mine revise their module content every year and choose new books that better suit the revisions.

So if you do find a list somewhere make sure it is up to date!

I've only needed to buy about a third of the reading list on my uni's website as the lecturers have listed books they think might be interesting to read for background info, (Or books they have used snippets from but the rest of the book is irrelevant to your subject). I would wait until the lecturers verbally advise you to buy a particular book.

The Art of Computer Programming by Donald A. Knuth (has it outgrown its use as a standard?)
