I'm thinking of having one of my friends call up my woman and telling her that I died in a car accident. After she starts crying for a bit I will ring the doorbell with a big bouquet of red roses. Then we will go out for dinner. I think she will be so surprised! Do you agree?

Bad idea, bro. Creating bad juju on Valentine's Day probably isn't what your girlfriend is dreaming about. Do you really want to make her feel that empty feeling you get when you hear someone dies on the one day of the year that's dedicated to romance? Forego the pseudo-death and stick with the standard roses and dinner. She may think it's typical and lame, but I have a feeling that is a better reaction than crying and whatever else she might do if she heard you've passed, and being pissed off at you for lying to her. :)

Roses and dinner are a great idea but faking your death is sick, sick, sick. It is a cruel prank to play on anyone. You should thank G__d that you are still living. My first boyfriend died 20 years ago and I still miss him.

I think that is an awful. If my fiance did that and then showed up at the door, I would whoop his butt until he couldn't sit down! That is an awful thing to do to someone!!!!!! Playing with someone's emotions like that is a terrible idea.

If you want to surprise her, say you're going to be late because of work or something, and then show up at the door..don't fake your own death!! PLEASE!

I think that you have the perfect plan if what you really want is to get slapped and then dumped. Good luck with that.

You should order the roses ( pay first) then really kill yourself. I think she will be so surprised!

Don't do it. What comes around, goes around. She might not take kindly to this kind of prank - never joke about dying.

Definitely she'll be so surprised. But that's too much. Don't tell that you're dead unless you are really dead.
