( 12 x 11 x 10 ) / ( 1 x 2 x 3)

you devide by 1 x 2 x 3 because the order in which you choose them does not matter so sausage onions and mashrooms is the same as mashrooms onions and sausage.

Need more info.. can the toppings be chosen more than once? Does the order of choosing matter? For example if I choose pepperoni, then mushroom, then cheese is that the same or different if I choose mushroom, then cheese, then pepperoni?

12*11*10, assuming you can only choose each topping once.
