I havent watched this soap but my coworker is blathering on about it. I want to shock her. I guess this dude named Steve was brought back from the dead. How did this happen? She says that he died on the show in front of his wife and that it's not possible to bring him back. I never take part in her conversations cause I don't know what she's talking about, but tell me how this cat died and I'll freak her out!

They haven't disclosed how the whole thing REALLY went down yet. But He was thought dead and it now seems he was actually taken by Stefano Dimera, tortured and brainwashed to do something(s) horrible, had his memory erased and was relocated. But by an incredible twist of fate he was reunited (or rather Nick Stockton, the name he was then living by, was reunited) with his brother Jack.
The way he "died" originally was he was on Bo's boat, which was then blown up. He survived, but was in the hospital, I believe. He was then poisoned through his IV, I guess. I am not sure, I ddin't see it back then. But, as I said, he was obviously not poisoned but given some sort of thing that made him appear dead and then had a whole lot of things happen, which is being revealed now.

Steve aka Patch was killed by Stefano, but just before the coffin was lowered into the sea you saw it being switched. This left it open for Steve to come back at some future date. Steve was found by his brother Jack in a hospital working as an intern and he had amnesia. When Stefano Demuria is involved anything can happen.

everyone at one time or another dies on a soap and is brought back from the dead,and they never age..i used to watch days of our lives 20+ years ago when steve first came on and recently watched one day and was surprised he was back and alive but still looke the same

Everybody on that show has "died" and come back to life. Watch it in the next few days and they will reveal what happened to Steve.

They explained yesterday that the Demeras got him right after that and kept him a live and tortured and brainwashed him. Tell her John told Marlena that is a dream sequence yesterday.

he was not dead, he was brainwashed alot of people were suppose to be dead and they are alive on that show, like marlana is one example. we all seen her get dropped in the ground.
