Creating a Secure Doc to send it via email!?

Hi

I have a
- Adobe Acrobate Professional 6.0 (Adobe writer)
- Microsoft Word

I can convert Word docs to pdf - but what should I do make the doc uneditable? Pls give the steps.

How about pdf file? If you password protect, will the pdf be automatically protected?
