let it be known, i hate the yankees. but you have to admit, they are a sweet team. and with steinbrenner running things, they arent gonna run out of money to get key players. so i think they are gonna be a contender every year. i miss the good old days when the indians were great. good times

No little man, most fans will not "hop off the bandwagon" when the dynasty collapses. The fan base is here to stay.

I think most of them will die before the Yankees Tank. And in reality the Dynasty (as I define a Dynasty) is over. No Championships since 2000. Looking at 7 Years. Dynasties are defined by Championships.

If you define a Dynasty as one in which putting a competetive playoff team on the field year after year. Then the Dynasty won't die until George does.

Right.
Another great Yankee question.
Between 1979 and 1995, a span of 16 years, the Yankees weren't Champs let alone post season participants yet they had the most attendance for any team in baseball. They currently sell out more road games than any other team and their home attendance is over 4 million per year. I guess there are Yankee fans all over.
That speaks in VOLUMES about Yankee fans.

No I would never root for anybody else. I have been a Yankee fan for 50 years and we have had some lean times during that period. I live in Virginia, but I love my Yankees.

I live in New York. I will be a Yankee fan no matter what. I was a die hard fan since Don Mattingly was playing for us. And he will always be my favorite player.

They would but its going to be a long time. George is out of the way. Cashman has made some nicce moves getting some young talent in the sheffield trade. And getting rid of Johnson without giveing up much.

So as much as it pains me they are ready for another run.

True ball fans never abandon their teams. That's what made Brooklyn Dodger fans so great.
