Do 2.0 USB cards automatically come with the connections to plug existing usbs/firewire ports, or do I have to get a card that comes with new usb/firewire ports?

As I've seen cards with and without wiring/harness with ports attached. I have ports in the front of the PC which can't be moved. Am I stuck with 1.1 usbs or what?!

On a lot of PCs, that is the same thing. The ports themselves are fundamentally attached to the board.

If your existing ones do no t work you should try to replace them. As for the usb plug in if it does work no ned to buy a new one for just replace it with a whole new card. This doesn't make sense but usb aren't that expensive.

As the ports are physcially attached to the card, when you replace the card, you replace the ports.
