Should we pull out of every foreign nation? I mean, no more disaster relief, no more sharing technology, take the internet back for just the USA's use, and best of all, no more supplying them with weapons to help themselves against other invaders. Opinions?

Interfere with their lives? You mean when President Clinton cut our military in half and dismantled our intelligence agencies while our embassies were getting blown up, along with our navy. You call this interfering? O and then right after he leaves office with our military at record lows since before WWII we get attacked by the largest terrorist act on US soil.

Maybe thats why we are a little involved right now?

Very good point. As much as people complain and hate the USA they would be done with it. Personally I believe the US should go back to being Isolationists and not worry about the world problems..Build new military bases on the borders to help keep out illegal immigrants..This way we can spend money on American problems IE help rebuild News Orleans, check into poverty, and heath care

We should stop buying their filthy oil too. THAT would teach them a lesson. And while we're at it we can stop sending money and weapons to the corrupt monarchies and dictators too.

Heck, we can even stop propping up a certain Mediterranean colony with BILLIONS of dollars of free cash and deadly weapons.

THEN they'll all be sorry...

Yeah, we saved their butts in Afghan against the Russians, in Iraq against Iran, in Kuwait against Iraq, and then Iraq against one of the most brutal dictators in history...

Plus whenever there's an earthquake in Iran we give them millions of dollars and send doctors... We even give the Palestinian government millions....

Unfortunately none of that helps. The extremists think we're the great Satan and they just want us all dead or converted, they don't care which. They've said that over and over.

With that said I'm leaning more and more towards the isolationalist end of things.

How many troops did BALI send to the Middle East?

Oh, right, NONE.

The terrorists hate EVERYBODY because we're not Muslims and they even hate some of the other Muslims for not being THEIR kind of Muslims.

Sure, stop putting Coca-cola machines in Baghdad and Tehran, stop manipulating them with Aid money, stop running guns to them and their terrorist friends. Totally agree.

I think it's a bit too late for that. And what makes you think the US own the internet? Most technologies come from other countries too.

I agree. They bash the US or Canada (I'm from Canada), we pull our aid, then they get upset. One word that comes to my mind for the Middle East is IRRATIONAL!

Even if all that were to happen, there would still be terrorists based on religious beliefs.
