have you made the skype test call? Tools -> options -> sound devices -> make skype test call
if that works, then there is nothing wrong with your system. The person you require really isn't available.

The person you are calling also needs to have the skype software. If they do so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

Okay, i have skype and when you call someone, you need to dial it persise, and make surte they are availabe. Another thing is that you need to own a microphone, and hook it up to call people. You can also call people that have skype. Just ask a few friends and family if they have skype, get their login, and add it to your list of people on skype! hope this helps you

The other person you are calling needs to be on the SKYPE Network as well!!! and on-line.

wild_eep has already answered. . .it works much like the yahoo or msn chat. . .with the chat given a priority. . .i started using it this week starting. . .try the test call, if it works. . .try adding me @ getanand321 @ yahoo and @ skype. . .we cud test it out too . . .all the best. . .

ypuo need to set them up in your phone book. when you want to ring check they are available because teir name is highlighted
