Considering the ages, you have chosen some great places. However, there is a lot outside of the theme parks. Dinner theatres (Dixie Stampede, Medieval Times, Capone's). Educational (Kennedy Space Center, Titanic the Exhibit). Unusual (Ripley's Believe It or Not, Wonderworks). You don't want to get too burned out on the theme parks and standing in lines. Mix it up.

If you fancy a low cost day away from the parks you could go to daytona beach and hire a surf board each. Datona is only around 1 hour along interstate 4 and since petrol costs next to nothing compared with the UK it would be a cheap trip. As you have probably guessed Datona is also the home of the famous car racing so if you planned it you could also catch some of this as you pass right by the massive stadium on the way to the beach.

Given the ages within your group, if you go to one Disney park I’d recommend the Animal Kingdom because it is a change of pace from most other Orlando attractions. Kilimanjaro Safari is probably the most popular attraction at Animal Kingdom with plenty of African animals, just remember to bring a camera and sit on the driver’s side of the vehicle for the best views. Expedition Everest is the newest roller coaster. Dinosaur and Kali River Rapids are also fun.
I would just talk it over with your kids. Whatever park you ultimately decide, there is usually plenty to see. Here are a few of my “don’t miss” attractions for each park:
MAGIC KINGDOM: Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Mickey’s PhilarMagic, Wishes fireworks show.
ANIMAL KINDOM: Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safari, Dinosaur, Expedition Everest
EPCOT: Soaring, Test Track, Mission Space,International pavilions, Illuminations fireworks show.
MGM STUDIOS: Rock’n Roller Coaster, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Muppetvision 3D

Go to EPCOT. They have things you will enjoy. Especially mission to mars, soaring, and the aquarium.
Magic Kingdom is mostly for smaller kids.
Animal Kingdom has good things too, and a big roller coaster.
MGM Studios is small, nice. Also good for everyone.
You will LOVE Universal. Be sure to go to Terminator 3D show, ET, Men in Black, Jaws, Twister, The Mummy Ride, Beatlejuice show, Horror Picture Show. Islands of Adventure has a LOT of rides too. But I like Universal the best. Go every 3 months to Orlando's attractions for 1-3 days.

Disney won't be as crowded as it is in the summer. It's also good to take your kids when they're a bit older (I went when I was 18- I loved it!). The best places to check out are MGM studios and Epcot. There are loads of things to do here and I liked the whole 'World theme' at the Epcot centre. Your kids might also enjoy Downtown Disney and the Water Park.
We payed for a 7 day ticket (we were staying at International Drive) upfront, at the entrance to the park. It was cheaper because we payed in American Dollars. (Prebookng from the UK was expensive).
Have a great holiday!

Islands of Adventure probably best for that age group. Sea world probably worth a visit, and, of the Disney parks, probably Animal Kingdom, MGM Studios and Epcot in that order. Kennedy Space Center is an easy drive if sufficient interest in that sort of thing.

Make sure you have your tickets before you go, this will save a lot if time at the gates.
Get there early and walk straight to the furthest ride you want to go on and work your way back to the gate.
Most people go on the first thing they see.

We went last year ( from Spain) with my two sons (13 and 9) and enjoyed a lot!! , but I strongly recommed you to go to universal studios and magic kingdom , instead rent a brand new car ( hertz or avis or similar) try to rent a "wreck" is dramatically cheaper and use to be "old american cars" but in a very good use!!, you will have a very good time
