the guitar; first song, stairway to heaven

People.
I just remembered the first musical instrument I learned how to play was other people. I learned to make them laugh and cry and that is the most exciting music you can ever hear.
I moved from there to drums, and guitar and piano and zither and juice harp and recorder and what ever was lying around but that was less enjoyable than people so most of those things went to my siblings.
The great thing about people is you can find them anywhere and they never need restringing or tightening. Tuning, that is another story.

It was a thingy called a recorder, sort of like a ghastly flute. I remember the terrible sound of 20 of them wailing as the lesson went on.
