The lowest is along the Derwent - between 37 and 45 metres above sea level. The centre of Derby is around 40 to 50 metres ASL, most of the residential area is 50 to 80 metres ASL but some of the higher parts on the outskirts are a little over 100 metres.

Absolutely millions. There will be so many gas, electric and water meters you probably would'nt be able to count them all.
