Sure could, if you treat the relationship right, contribute to it, take it slow, and control your feelings!

absolutely. and what a wonderful relationship you would have. starting as friends and getting to know one another over time is the best way to know if you will be compatable. just think of the conversation you two could/would have after knowing just about everything about one another. you may find that this kind of friendship will lead to the lasting relationship you have both been looking for. it may take a year, it may take 5 years but it sure would be worth it.

yes! the best relationships are those that started off as friends... it's easier to be with someone that you know and already trust because you know them personally. sometimes, friends can't last in a relationship because they know too much on one another and they don't want to ruin the friendship. A real friendship is full of love.

Absolutely... Its funny how our mind works, i was once in that situation where i was friends with a guy for over 2 years and never ever found him attractive or did i ever see myself dating him, but one day i decided to give him a chance and it turned into a serious relationship.. I already knew what a sweet and lovable person he was- Same is happening to you; you obviously love him as a person and that's why he is still in your life! Save yourself the headaches and go ahead and marry the guy already!

Yes that happened to me once and we are still together but the thing is that if you both are close friends and once you both start going out then break up it's going to be weird after that it's common that you two wont be friends anymore.

One of my ex boyfriends is one of my best friends... so i believe it can work (depending of course on how the relationship ended).. but the friendship turning back into love... i don't know but my opinion is no.. i can't see myself going back to him as lovers...
I am happy with him being my friend and still being involved in each others lives.

friendship can turn into love. infact, the definition of friendship is love. if she/he cannot be your friend, she/he cannot be your love. therefore, friendship is love. its the first step towards it. if there wasn't any spark before, the spark could be there now. nothin wud stop that friendship to turn into luv once this happens. i assure you...

I have a friend who I love very much, we never have done anything and he loves me too. Our love is so strong we were afraid to mess up our frienship and now he is with someone else and I would suggest you don't miss the boat too
