I am planning to make a funny card for a girl I work with, I do like her, but she's made it clear we're just friends. Do you think this is a good idea, or will she take it the wrong way? My intentions are not romantic; I just thought I would do this since we're friends.

Truthfully, it would freak me out if a guy that I've already told "we're just friends" sent me a Valentine, romantic or not. Valentine's Day is for romance, not friendly fun, regardless of what anyone tells you. You'd be better off bringing in some pink donuts for the entire office, then putting a special one on her desk so she "gets the best one".

Yes, since it is already clear, and since it is a funny card, go ahead!
I love valentines day, it does not have to be just about romantic love, just about caring.

I think that would be a great idea. Just so its not all lovey then you should be fine! I give cards to my friends that are guys- they just say friendly things and jokes nothing all lovey dovey and they dont take it the wrong way!

Definitely. It might change her mind about you, turn her your way. Women love it when guys act bold. Always be rebellious and try for what you want. She's see you as a bad *** and a shepherd instead of a sheep.
