My RV has a very small shower and I want to get the shower curtain off me when I'm showering. It sticks to my leg. I need something like a curved shower rod that I can hang from the ceiling and leave there permenently. I could then hook part of the shower curtain to that curved rod while I'm showering, then move it back to it's normal rod when it's not in use. I don't have enough space to leave it there. What can I use that's flexible enough to bend into an arc yet strong enough to hold up a shower curtain? Any creative minds out there today?

Metal conduit that can be purchased at any hardware store should so the trick. It's cheap also. ( It is the small flexible hose type material.)

You might be able to use plastic pipe for a shower curtain rod. You could perhaps have some basic hangers that hold the curtain in place by supporting the rods. When you want the curve, you would have different holders that would cause the plastic pipe to bow. Not seeing your space makes this harder, but perhaps a bracket that is welded together with a 1/4" metal pin sticking up could be used to support the curtain in normal mode, with holes in the plastic pipe that would fit down over the pins when you want it to bow.

flexible conduit pipe will work. if the shower base is metal try buy a shower curtain that has the magnets in the bottom and it will hold it down in place while you are showering. you may also be able to attach velcro to the curtain and tub area to hold it in place

They have those bow shaped rods in Linen and Things. But what about a piece of perspex instead of a curtain? Or a pull down blind type of covering?

Try a piece of 3/4 inch pvc pipe it might be flexible enough or you might heat it to bend it in the shape you need....

I usually aim the shower head at the curtain... I stick myself under it to rinse.... the flow of the water keeps it off of me.

If it ends up costing just as much to build it as it would to buy it, (which so often it does:( ) Improvements Catalog has one for $39.99. It's a fantastic catalog!

copper tubing might work. Your local hardware store might be willing to bend if for you too.
