More governors have been elected president than any other group of politicians. That seems to be the pool which the country draws on.

The last senator to be elected was JFK. The odds favor a governor.

I would never vote for a Senator for President. They are all over the place, on some issues I may like them, on others I completely disagree.

I think all of the governors running are pretty weak.

Mayor Giuliani, may have a good record as mayor, but I think he is qualified for attorney general at best.

I like candidates from the House, my first pick is Duncan Hunter, my next pick would be Newt Gingrich.
